Location is between Cambridge and St. Neots, with easy access to both. There is plenty of free onsite parking in a well lit, clean lot. The people at reception were knowledgeable and friendly, and check-in was efficient and quick. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower had plenty of pressure. It was quite soundproofed. There was ample space to hang clothing. There was a coffee station in the room. There was no refrigerator in the room - but we were allowed to keep our perishable items in the hotel refrigerator. We appreciated this consideration.

This is a truly fantastic hotel and this was our third time staying there. Great, convenient location - a short distance to the excellent Madingley Road Park and Ride service into Cambridge. Shops and Service Station very nearby. The hotel itself is modern, spotlessly clean and the staff are very welcoming and so kind and helpful. The rooms are not very big but they are fine as a base for a short stay. We were sharing our room with our son and dog but it would be fine for a couple. The shower rooms are very well equipped, great toiletries, plenty of hot water and lovely soft towels. The beds are very comfortable, excellent air conditioning, television, hairdryer and iron/ironing board. We have already booked another stay in October.

A lovely warm welcome from Nikki. The room was spacious and very clean. Bed was comfortable. A good location for exploring Cambridge via the park and ride services. Also good for exploring other nearby attractions in other counties such as Suffolk, Essex and Lincolnshire. Nice perk of having decaf tea avaliable at breakfast.

Bright, modern, attractive decor. Well designed en suite bedroom, useful mid height sockets and for usb. Comfortable bed, very comfortable a/c. Good sound proofing when window shut. Breakfast buffet was constantly being replenished. Young and attentive staff. Free wifi and carpark. We liked the setting of the new town. We ate at the pub - reasonable pub view, served by very friendly willing young staff. Convenient overnight stop on way to or way back from Continent in quieter area than the main A14/M11 road.

Great location for catching direct bus to Cambridge. Very comfortable modern room. Great breakfast. Friendly staff and quick check-in. Close to Morrisons and Home Bargains.

The hotel was perfectly clean, well appointed and newly refurbished. Large quiet rooms. TV was large and worked (not always the case!) good water pressure and air con controlled from a panel. The service is excellent and 24 hours. Large car park easy to get round, and walking distance of Camborne which is actually a nice little commuter village with a busy enough centre.

A solid 10 across the board — Holiday Inn Express Cambourne, Cambridge exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything ran so smooth and organised. The location, though a bit outside the city center, offered peace and quiet — a welcome retreat after a busy day in Cambridge. Public transport and parking were both convenient, making it easy to reach the heart of the city. The room was spotless, modern, and surprisingly spacious, with a super comfy bed that gave us a perfect night’s rest. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like plenty of plug points, great water pressure in the shower, and excellent soundproofing. The breakfast was generous, fresh, and well-managed — from hot options to fresh fruit and pastries, it was a great way to start the day. But the real standout? The staff. Every team member I encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. They made me feel at home, and nothing was too much trouble. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, I’d highly recommend staying here — it’s great value, with top-notch hospitality! ☺️

We have stayed here before and it didn't disappoint this time either! The location is perfect for us as we were visiting relatives. Everything about this hotel is just excellent, it's clean, it's comfy, nothing is too much trouble for the helpful friendly staff. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and warm with plenty of hanging space for clothes. It has very good sound proofing too, you very rarely hear your neighbours in the hall and never hear them in your room. A wonderful stay

Our welcome - we were warmly met and checked in by Nikki. A welcome like that from an employee who understands customer service as she does sets IHG Cambourne ahead of its rivals. Exceptional. We loved the cleanliness everywhere as well as the design of this new hotel. We only stayed one night but enjoyed a hearty breakfast that provided a great array of choices. Really well laid out and attended to by the breakfast team who went out of their way to check the ingredients of some foods for us. We cannot recommend the hotel enough.
